Get rid of attachments. Just upload your document, grab the URL and share it with your friends or post it in blogs / forums. No sign up required.

It may not be the safest way - as the files are available to anyone. However it makes it easy to share office applications cross platform as the files are available through the browser, and can be downloaded in several formats including PDF and HTML. More information is available in the FAQ.

As this is still a Beta version I suppose both security and file size allowed will see some improvements. This might make it a decent alternative to the other on-line storage services like Google’s Gmail “Beta” and Microsoft’s Windows Live Skydrive “Beta”.

Digression: The Beta appears to be a substitute for the old disclaimer - providing the necessary excuse when something/everything failes…
