Milestone - 250000 page views

Just noticed from the stats that Blogvaria passed yet another milestone. More than 250.000 page views since New Year, and it’s not that long ago when it turned 100.000 or 50.000 hits/views for that matter.

Furthermore, the average visitor is flipping through approximately 10 pages a visit which means some of you really find the stuff I write about interesting - thank you!

I’ll try to keep it up and make my best effort to bring you quality content.

Thanks for staying tuned!

Thomas

This post is just to announce the immediate availability of an updated version of my Lightbox Media add-on.

The latest version fixes problems related to upper-case file names and also lets you specify the size of the overlay when opening iframed content.

Get the new code including examples from my download page.

Tested in IE, Opera, Safari and Firefox.

How to reduce SPAM email

Spam, or unsolicited “junk” email, is a common problem for people connected to the Internet. While it’s pretty easy to delete spam, it can take a long time to sort the spam from the non-spam messages, and worse, some spammers have also started attaching viruses to their spam messages. So, it’s best to avoid being spammed in the first place.

Jennifer Hodgdon lead consultant at Poplar ProductivityWare has written a thorough article on the SPAM problem issue and how to avoid/reduce it.
